Miguel Ángel Navarro (born January 14, 1982 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra) is a Bolivian swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events.[1] Navarro represented Bolivia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he swam in the first heat of the men's 100 m freestyle, against Congo's Emile Rony Bakale and Libya's Sofyan El Gadi. He finished the race in second place by more than a second behind Bakale, with a time of 56.96 seconds. Navarro, however, failed to advance into the semi-finals, as he placed sixty-third out of sixty-four swimmers in the overall rankings.[2]
