Micromyrtus barbata is a plant species of the Myrtaceae family endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The erect shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 0.7 metres (0.7 to 2.3 ft). It blooms between July and September producing cream-white flowers

It is found on sandplains and sand dunes in the central Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia in the Gibson Desert, Great Victoria Desert and Little Sandy Desert where it grows in red sandy soils.[1]
