Micro Magic Inc. was a US-based ASIC company that produced high-performance SoC designs and was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2000 for 260 million US$ in stocks and cash.[1][2]

Micro Magic was founded in January 1995 by co-workers at SUN Microsystems. While at SUN the Micro magic founders worked on several projects, to include a 900ps 16Kbyte cache SRAM and the SPARC V9 architecture definition, and led the development team for a 300 MHz SPARC Microprocessor. The rest of Micro Magic's core design team consisted of senior designers from HP, SGI, and DEC.

Micro Magic Inc was acquired by Juniper Networks in December 2000 for $260 million. In May 2004 the founders of Micro Magic restarted the company to build, use, and sell high-end CAD tools.
