Episode

  • Even though I devote myself to study on a daily basis under my boss, Russo-Japanese War broke out at the age of 17 in the third year. With the influence of this war, the work of construction almost disappeared, and the master tried to switch the industry from carpenter to dish making. As a result, Michio also learns the knowledge and skill of loom making. * Master Imamura turned his attention to the textile work that was a major export item at the time and turned to making a foot cloth machine.
  • I was fortunate to concentrate on the project because I was not able to comply with the regulation of draft inspection with a low height, and it was fortunate that I was transferred to the second replenishment soldier. I spent a few days to complete the first footwork machine with a single wooden iron and gave it to my grandmother.
  • There are more than 120 patent and utility model such as invention of Suzuki loom, but I was not satisfied with the manufacture of looms alone, I dreamed of entering a new field. That leads to the later development of automobiles.
