Michalis Kamperidis (alternate spelling: Michail) (Greek: Μιχάλης Καμπερίδης; born April 24, 1994) is a Greek professional basketball player for Holargos of the Greek League. He is a 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in) tall power forward.

Professional career

After playing youth basketball with Mandraikos, Kamperidis began his professional career in 2012, with the Greek 2nd Division club Filathlitikos. He declared for the 2014 NBA draft, but went undrafted. In 2014, he moved to the Greek First Division club AEK Athens.[1]

On 22 January 2015, he was loaned to Peñas Huesca.[2] On 29 July 2015, he was loaned to Rethymno Cretan Kings, where he spent two seasons. [3] With AEK, he won the Greek Cup title, in 2018, as well as the Champions League.

Greek national team

As a member of the junior national basketball teams of Greece, Kamperidis participated at the 2011 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, the 2012 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, the 2013 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, and the 2014 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship.
