Michael Schär (born 29 September 1986 in Geuensee) is a Swiss professional road bicycle racer for UCI WorldTeam BMC Racing Team.[1]

He has competed in nine Grand Tours during his career, and was the winner of the Swiss National Road Race Championships in 2013.[2] He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics.[3] His father Roland was also an Olympic cyclist.[3]
