Michael Hartley (born 7 June 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Essendon Football Club with the 68th overall selection in the 2015 national draft.

Prior to his recruitment by Essendon, Hartley spent 2 years on Collingwood's rookie list.[1]

He made his debut in round 2 of the 2016 AFL season in the club's win against Melbourne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.[2][3] He kicked his first AFL goal in the win.[3]
