Michael Alexander (academic)

Michael Scott Alexander (born 1970) is an associate professor in the religious studies department of the University of California, Riverside.[1]

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and from Yale University in 1999 with a PhD, after which he served as Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies at the University of Oklahoma.

He was the former Murray Friedman Associate Professor of Modern Jewish History at Temple University in Philadelphia, and former Director of the Feinstein Center for American Jewish History.
