Mhow - Sanawad Passenger is a metre-gauge passenger train of the Indian Railways, which runs between Mhow railway station in Madhya Pradesh and Sanawad railway station in Madhya Pradesh. It is being operated with 52963/52964, 52975/52976, 52973/5297 train numbers, which runs three times in a day.

This is the last surviving metre-gauge train of the Akola–Ratlam line. Once its tracks are finished as board-gauge tracks, they will provide connectivity between Indore and Southern Indian states.[1][2][3] [4][5][6] [7]

Traction

Both trains are hauled by a Mhow Loco Shed based YDM-4 diesel locomotive from Mhow to Sanawad and vice versa. Banker locomotive is attached from Kalakund to Patalpani due to steep incline .
