A metatrochophore (/ˌmiːtəˈtroʊkəˌfɔːr, ˌmɛ-, -ˈtrɒ-, -koʊ-/;^[2]^[3]) is a type of larva developed from the trochophore larva of a polychaete annelid.

Metatrochophores have a number of features trochophores lack, including eyespots and segments.
