Metachroma is a genus of leaf beetles in the subfamily Eumolpinae. It is known from North, Central and South America. There are about 140 described species in Metachroma, 40 of which are found north of Mexico.[1][2][3][4][5] The genus name comes from the Ancient Greek words μετα ("different") and χρῶμα ("color").[5]
