Mersudin Ahmetović (Bosnian pronunciation: [axměːtoʋitɕ]; born March 19, 1985 in Tuzla[1]) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian footballer who plays for FK Sarajevo and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.[2]
Career
He joined Rostov in summer of 2008. After two seasons in Rostov and breaking in first team he left for Volga where he had good start but got sidelined in his second season in Volga. In February 2013 he signed a contract with Salyut Belgorod.
In December 2014, Ahmetović left FC Zhetysu.[3]
In January 2015, he came back to Bosnia to help Sloboda Tuzla avoid relegation. In June 2015, Sloboda declared that Ahmetovic will be staying for another year in Sloboda.[4]
Personal life
Ahmetović's look bears a strong resemblance to that of famous Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimović who is partly of Bosnian ethnicity himself, they also share a similar style of play.[5]
