Melvyn "Mel" Meek was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and 1940s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Halifax, and Huddersfield, as a prop, hooker, or second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, 9, or 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.[1][2]

International honours

Mel Meek won 14 caps for Wales in 1935–1949 while at Halifax.[1]
