Meishi Smile is the electronic music project of Los Angeles-based music producer MAY.[2] The project was formed in 2010[3] and is stylized by elements of noise music, J-pop and shoegaze.[4]

Career

In 2014, MAY released their first album LUST on Attack The Music and Zoom Lens. Later that year, MAY released a new single called Star on Maltine Records.[5]

In January 2015, MAY debuted their first video on national television on Adult Swim with the video "AJS."[6]

On May 21, 2015, MAY announced through an interview with The Fader that he was working on a forthcoming album entitled ...Belong[7]

A week later on May 28, 2015, MAY premiered a new single entitled Breathe.[8]
