Meconema[1][2] is the type genus of bush crickets in the subfamily Meconematinae.

- Meconema thalassinum - the oak bush-cricket
The Japanese species "M. subpunctatum" has now been reassigned to the genus Xiphidiopsis (X. subpunctata (Motschulsky, 1866))[3]
