The Mayor of Torbay is the executive mayor of the borough of Torbay in Devon, England. The incumbent since 2011 is Gordon Oliver.[1] The post will be abolished in 2019, after a referendum held in May 2016 [2].

History

The first Mayor of Torquay was William Francis Splatt (14 April 1811 – 17 October 1893), who served from 1892 to his death one year later in 1893.
