Maudie Wilson ( nee McRobie; March 23 1903-October 24 2013) was a pending New Zealand Supercentenarian. She was one of the oldest people known in New Zealand when she died.

Biography

She was born as Frances Maude McRobie on March 23 1903 in Invercargill New Zealand. She met her husband Bill Wilson when she was about 10 years old and the married in 1929 and were married for about 56 years. Her husband died in 1992. They had three children named Fay Lyndsay and Frances. Wilson had 3 children 9 grandchildren 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She became the oldest living person in New Zealand on March 14 2011 then aged 107 following the death of 109 year old Lena Ray. She was affectionately knowns as "Maudie".

Death

Frances Maude Wilson passed away on October 24 2013[1] in Invercargill New Zealand at the age of 110 years 215 days. She was succeeded as New Zealand's oldest person by 109-year-old Peg Griffin.
