Mau Aima (मऊ आइमा) is a panchayat town situated in the Allahabad district of the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is positioned in the north of Allahabad, 30 km on the state highway from Allahabad to Faizabad. Chitpalgarh, Raniganj, Siwaith and Sikandra are some of the towns surrounding Mau Aima. The Mau Aima Railway Station on the Faizabad-Allahabad rail route is the nearest railway station and the Varanasi airport is the nearest airport. The historical town of Shringverpur is located at a distance of 12 km.

It is a prosperous center for manufacturing of cotton, polyester and nylon cloths.Main business of Mau Aima is Power loom. thousands of labourer are based on power loom. Here, you can easily notice about ancient civilization of Indo-Aryan people in Baraipur village. This is an evidence based on archaeological study. Not only mosques, here you can observe so many historical temples and a very huge summoned that is not lesser than to a river. This place is came under Baraipur gram panchayat. By observing this village you can say 'Village of jamidar'. The huge area of pond ecosystem with 20 acre wide forest with 52 bigha summoned can be a tourist attraction. This place is so peaceful with large number of rared 'Blue Cow' or 'Blue Bull' also known as 'Neelgai' in resgional tongue can be seen frequently in this area. Apart from NEELGAI, you may observe so many different species of 'Jackal', 'Wolf', 'Porqupine'.
