Matthew Marchant served as the Mayor of the City of Carrollton, Texas [1][2] from May 2011 until June 2017 when he reached the term limit. He is married to Lindsay Marchant, and is the father of two daughters. Marchant is a lifelong resident of Carrollton. His father, Kenny Marchant, also served as Mayor of Carrollton from 1984-1986. Matthew was elected in May 2011, re-elected in 2014, and reached a term limit in June 2017. He was succeeded by Kevin Falconer.[3]
