Matthew Arias also known by his stage name Matteo[1] (born February 11, 1991) is a Los Angeles based musician and film editor. Arias was born in Monterey County, California in 1991 however spent most his childhood in the Los Angeles suburb of Claremont.[2]

Music

Arias is a multi-instrumentalist active since 2009. He is currently a member of two bands, Golden Animals[3][4] and Windowss. He has toured the US multiple times and collaborated with brands such as Urban Outfitters[1] and American Apparel. Past bands include Vox Waves and Slow White.

Film and TV

Arias has been working in the film and tv industry since 2011, when he began as an editor at Estrella TV[2] and later Fuse TV.[2] He currently is a freelance editor for NBC Universal. He has been Emmy[5][6] nominated several times and in 2017, won an Emmy[2][7][5] for his work on a muti-part news investigation[8][9] with NBC 4. In addition, he has been nominated and received multiple Golden Mike Awards[10] for his work in the news industry. He is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
