Matczyn [ˈmatt͡ʂɨn] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bełżyce, within Lublin County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Bełżyce and 19 km (12 mi) west of the regional capital Lublin.
An unused airfield near the village was used in July 1944 during Operation Most III.
