MasterChef Junior is a gastronomic TV program aired on 23 December 2013 in La 1.[1][2] The first season was assisted by 3.000 kids.[3] The first season consisted on 4 episodes. Since season 2, all the seasons has 6 episodes.

It is hosted by Eva González,[4] while Jordi Cruz, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Pepe Rodríguez are the chefs.[5][6]

On February 28, 2018, the program was renewed for a sixth season of 6 episodes to be aired in the period 2018-2019.[7]
