Masjid Al-Abdul Razak (Jawi: مسجد العبدالرازق; Malay for Al-Abdul Razak Mosque) is a mosque in Singapore, located at Jalan Ismail, off Jalan Eunos.

Construction of Al Abdul Razak mosque started in the middle of 1964. At that time, Singapore was still under Malaysian rule. The sponsor for the construction of the mosque was an Arab business man from Kuwait by the name of Abdul Razak. Which is why the mosque was named Al Abdul Razak mosque. The mosque was completed at the end of 1965, and at that time, Singapore had just gained independence from the Malaysian Federation. The mosque was officially opened by the late Mr Yusof Ishak, Singapore’s very first President of the Republic of Singapore. Not long after the mosque was officially opened, the late Tuan Syed Hussain Ali Hadsyi was appointed as the Imam of the mosque who lived at the quarters located at the mosque itself. He was also appointed as the unofficial chairman of the mosque, and together with several elders who resided in the area, such as the late Cikgu Wahid Bin Hussain, A Hamid Sulaiman and several others, they formed the first unofficial management committee of the mosque. During this time, the mosque was exclusive to male Jemaahs only as there weren’t any space for the female Jemaahs.

Activities organized at the mosque has always centered around religious enrichment such as: Maulid Dibaie that’s held every Thursday nights after Solat Maghrib, Ratib Al-Hadad on Monday evenings and Daily recitation of Surah Yaseen, after Solat Fajr.

All of these activities were lead by the Imam of the Mosque at that time. Unfortunately, these activities are no longer a regular part of the mosque activities. However, Maulid Dibaie was revived in 2009, and continues to be a regular program that is still conducted every Thursday nights till this very day.

In 1991, the Al Abdul Razak family has decided to wakaf the mosque, and it was taken over by MUIS. All active jemaahs at the mosque were requested by the Imam at that time, Imam S. Hussain Al-Habsyi, to be officially appointed as Mosque Management Board (MMB) by MUIS. Thus, in 1991, Cikgu Khair Md Don was the first appointed chairman of Al Abdul Razak Mosque till 2009. Together with Cikgu Hj Ahmad Bin Muda, holding several posts as Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer during the same tenure. Mr Haji Abdul Rahim Bin Muttalif took over the post of Treasurer from 2006 to 2009.

After the establishment of the mosque’s MMB in 1991, it was only then that the Imam of the mosque, the late Allahyarham Tuan Syed Hussain Al Habsi, has agreed for the first time, to allow female jemaahs, a segregated area in the mosque to perform their solat and also to conduct exclusive Fardhu Ain classes, on Thursdays from 3pm to 4pm, that was lead by Hajjah Habsah Bte Senin. This class has been ongoing till this day. During his tenure as the Imam of Masjid Al Abdul Razak, the late Allahyarham Tuan Syed Hussain Al Habsi has manage to attract and gather numerous well known ‘Ulamak and asatizah to congregate at the mosque to conduct religious lessons and to also discuss religious issues for the benefit of muslims in Singapore.
