Masaya Matsukaze (松風 雅也, Matsukaze Masaya, born Masaya Watanabe (渡邉 政也, Watanabe Masaya), September 9, 1976) is a Japanese actor, voice actor and radio personality. He was formerly affiliated with Big Apple, Radix Mobanimation Multicye Division and Varoque Works, and is currently affiliated with Aoni Production. He was born in Fukushima Prefecture and is now living in Tokyo. He is best known for playing MegaBlue/Shun Namiki In Denji Sentai Megaranger, and is known to international audiences as the voice of Ryo Hazuki in the Sega Dreamcast game Shenmue.

Overview

He made his debut role as MegaBlue/Shun Namiki in the 1997 Super Sentai series, Denji Sentai Megaranger, a role he later reprised in the teamup special Gingaman vs. Megaranger. His nickname is "Banchō". His hobbies are Sunday carpentry, electricity products, kendo and scuba diving and his specialties are guitar, jet ski, snowboard and Bajiquan.
