Martyrs of Marriage

Martyrs of Marriage is an English-language Indian documentary film on the misuse of IPC 498A, also known as the anti-dowry law.[1][2][3] Section 498A was introduced in the Indian Penal Code in 1993 to curb the dowry system in India and protect married women. The documentary was made by journalist and documentary film-maker Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj. [4][5]
