Martine Andraos (Arabic: مارتين أندراوس) (born 11 August 1990 in Kfaraakka, Koura district, Lebanon) was Miss Lebanon 2009.
Early life and education
Born in a Lebanese Eastern Orthodox Christian family, she completed her high school studies at the Lycee Franco-Libanais. In 2008, after obtaining her French and Lebanese bacaleaureat she enrolled in her Business Administration studies at the Lebanese American University. She graduated with a BS in Marketing, MA degree in Political Science and International Affairs at the Lebanese American University. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Heidelberg. She is married to German-Lebanese Jad Tawk since 2017.
Miss Lebanon
Martine competed in the Miss Lebanon competition. She was crowned Miss Lebanon on June 26, 2009 in a broadcast held LIVE in Beirut, Lebanon on LBC.[1][2] Martine represented Lebanon in Miss Universe 2009 which took place on Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. She also represented Lebanon in the Miss World 2009 pageant that took place in South Africa where she was noted for her outstanding poise, and elegance but again failed to make it as a semi-finalist.
