Martin Schirdewan (born 12 July 1975, Berlin) is a German politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) representing Germany since 8 November 2017, following the resignation of Fabio De Masi. He is a member of the The Left, part of the European United Left–Nordic Green Left.[1]

Political career

Since being appointed to the European Parliament, Schirdewan has served as a member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
