Martin (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English first-class cricketer active in 1816 who played in two matches.[1][2] He played for Hampshire against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at Lord's on 24–25 June but scored no runs in his only innings. Hampshire won the match by six wickets.[3] A few weeks later, 3–6 July, Martin played for an England XI against The Bs, also at Lord's, and scored 11 in the first innings. He was not needed in the second innings as his team won by nine wickets.[4] He is not recorded as having bowled in either match. He held one catch in the MCC v Hampshire match to dismiss John Brand.[3]
