Martil (Arabic: مرتيل) is a Town northeast of the city of Tetouan. Province du Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Morocco in the Mediterranean Sea.

The name Martil comes from the Spanish name of Río Martín at the time of the Spanish protectorate of Northern Morocco.[2] To the north is the golfing resort of Cabo Negro.
