Marko Janković (Serbian Cyrillic: Марко Јанковић, pronounced [mâːrko jǎːŋkoʋitɕ]; born 9 July 1995) is a Montenegrin footballer who plays for Partizan.

Club career

Early career

Born in Cetinje,[1] Montenegro, back then still part of FR Yugoslavia, Marko Janković played with Partizan youth team before beginning his senior career with their affiliate club Teleoptik playing in the 2012–13 Serbian First League.

Olympiacos

In summer 2013, Janković joined Greek club Olympiacos FC on a four-year contract.[2][3] During autumn of 2013 he played with Olympiacos youth team in the UEFA Youth League.[4] He played all six matches in group stage against Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica and Anderlecht.

OFK Beograd (loan)

In summer 2014, Janković joined OFK Beograd on loan from Olympiakos.[5] He made his debut in the 2014–15 Serbian SuperLiga as a substitute in the third round match against Novi Pazar and scored the third goal of his team in a 3–2 victory.[6][7]

Maribor (loan)

On 31 August 2015, he joined Maribor on a one-year loan.[8][9] He made his debut for Maribor on 23 September in a 1–1 draw against Domžale, coming on as a 62nd-minute substitute for Dare Vršič.[10] On 25 May 2016, Janković helped Maribor to win the 2015–16 Slovenian Cup, playing the full 120 minutes and successfully converting his team's third spot-kick against Celje.[11]

Partizan

On 15 June 2016, Janković was loaned to Partizan for the 2016–17 season.[12] He made his debut for the club on 14 July, in a second qualifying round for the UEFA Europa League against Zagłębie Lubin.[13] He scored his first goal for Partizan on 6 November against Novi Pazar in a 4–0 home league victory.[14] On 10 February 2017, Partizan bought Janković from Olympiacos.[15] In his first campaign with Partizan, Janković helped the club win the double.[16]

On 14 September 2017, Janković scored a goal in a 1–1 draw against Young Boys at Stade de Suisse in first round of 2017–18 UEFA Europa League group stage.[17]

International career

Janković has been a member of the Montenegrin U17, U19 and U21 teams. He debuted for the senior team on 29 May 2016 in a friendly match against Turkey.[18]
