Marjorie Carleton

Marjorie Carleton (Brockton, Massachusetts, 1897 - 4 June 1964) was an American playwright and writer of suspense novels.[1][2] Her best known work is Cry Wolf which won the scroll award of the Mystery Writers of America in 1945 and was made into a 1947 film under the same title. Her plays included The Barretts, and The Bride Regrets.
