Marinko Šarkezi (born 3 May 1972) is a retired Slovenian football defender. He played in the Slovenian PrvaLiga his entire career, spending seven seasons with Maribor and five seasons with Beltinci.[1] After retirement, he became a coach of the youth selections at Maribor.
