Mariia Posa (born 21 February 1988) [1] is a member of the Finland women's national ice hockey team. She plays also for the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Playing career
Minnesota Duluth
She had three assists in the Bulldogs’ two-game sweep of WCHA opponent Ohio State on November 13 and 14. She assisted in the Bulldogs’ first two goals on the November 13 game (a 3-2 overtime win). It was a career-high for Posa and she had a +3 in the game. The following night, she assisted on national teammate Saara Tuominen’s second period goal in a 5-3 victory.
Finland
- Posa appeared for Team Finland in the 2009 Four Nation’s Cup and she won a bronze medal at the 2010 Four Nations Cup in St. John's, Newfoundland.
