Marie-Sophie Hindermann (born 26 May 1991) is a retired German gymnast. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events except for the vault and finished in 12th place with the German team. Her best individual result was 55th place all-around.[2]

She won four medals at the 2006 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in the junior category: a silver on vault and bronze on uneven bars, team and all-around.[3] Being unusually tall for a female gymnast, she required adjustment of the uneven bars that caused frequent delays at international competitions.[1] At 5 foot 7 inches (in 2008; currently 5 foot 9 inches), she is the tallest female gymnast to ever compete in the Olympic Games, followed by Kylie Dickson at 5 foot 6 inches and Svetlana_Khorkina at 5 foot 5 inches.

In December 2012 she retired from competitions.[3]
