Marguerite Brésil (born 1880) was a French stage actress.[1] In 1899 she made her stage debut in Paris in Petit Chagrin.[1] She performed in all the major theaters of Paris, and played the title role in Zaza.[1]

Pictures of her appeared on Belle Époque postcards, and she popularized the Recamier hairstyle.[2][3]
