Margate Sands railway station served the town of Margate, Kent, England from 1846 to 1926 on the Kent Coast Line.
History
The station opened in 1846 by the South Eastern Railway. The station was the terminus of the SER line from Ramsgate Town. The station closed to both passengers and goods traffic in 1926.[1][2]. After closure the station became an amusement arcade before being demolished in the 1950s.
