Margarete Berent

Margarete Berent (born July 9, 1887 in Berlin, died June 23, 1965 in New York), was the first woman lawyer in Prussia. She was the co-founder of the Association of Women Jurists and Association of German Women Academicians.[1] After completing her studies Margarete Berent works in various law offices in Berlin, in addition, Margarete Berent took care of private clients every year and was a member of the community Habonim. She lectured until the end of her life.[2]
