Maren McGuire

Maren McGuire is an actress from California who has acted in films such as I Am Virgin,[1] Blood Creek Woodsman.[2] She has also acted in the comedy Little Blue Pill, playing the Bar Wench[3] and the television series Community.[4] She is also a narrator, having narrated up to 26 audio books.[5]

Background

She was born in Marin County, California.[6] She grew up on a goat farm in Kings Valley, Oregon. Her father was a roadie for the rock group Jefferson Starship and her mother was a seamstress.[7]

Film work

She played a vampire in the 2010 film I Am Virgin which was about a virus infecting the earth and turning people into sex driven vampires.[8][9] The following year she appeared in another film of the horror genre called Stripperland which was about a group of people banding together to survive in a post-apocalyptic land over run by zombies. She played one of the two uninfected women.[10][11][12] Two years later she was in another horror film, Blood Creek Woodsman.[13]

Some of the other films she has appeared in are How the Fire Fell, a haunting tale about an Oregon family and their slipping into madness.[14][15] and playing the role of Monica in the Scott Ballard directed Welcoming Departure.[16][17] In 2013, she acted in City Baby playing the role of Tatiana.[18]
