WWE

NXT (2013–2016)

In 2013, WWE signed Vierge to a developmental contract. In WWE's developmental territory NXT, under the ring name Marcus Louis, he appeared on the November 24 episode of NXT, losing to Wesley Blake. Louis formed an alliance with Sylvester Lefort, playing up a gimmick based on their French heritage. They wrestled their first televised match on the May 8 NXT losing to a debuting Kalisto & El Local[2] then on December 19, in a triple threat tag team elimination match against Colin Cassady and Angelo Dawkins, and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), which was won by Cassady and Dawkins. Starting into and during the course of 2014, the team of Louis and Lefort endured more losses in tag team competition. At NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way, Lefort lost a Hair vs. Hair match to Enzo Amore, but he did not adhere to the stipulation post-match and ran away, leaving Louis to be shaved bald instead. On the October 16 episode of NXT, Louis finally snapped and turned on Lefort and attacked him during a tag match. Nearing the ending months of 2014, Louis went on to wrestle more singles matches, winning most of them, including gaining a victory over his former partner Lefort.

Louis returned to ring action during March 13, teaming with Devin Taylor in a mixed tag match losing to Colin Cassady and Carmella. During the course of the March and April months of 2015, Louis lost several matches before turning his record around during May with a victory over Steve Cutler on May 8. He finished out May with another victory in a match against newcomer Tucker Knight on May 30. Over the duration of the summer months of June and July, Louis wrestled a few more singles matches with even fewer victories. He then wrestled a string of tag team matches during the rest of the 2015 summer winding down toward the October month and into the fall season. Victories included winning a match with Sawyer Fulton and Solomon Crowe against Bull Dempsey, Mojo Rawley and Tucker Knight on October 30 and a win against Oscar Vasquez on December 3.

Louis wrestled only three more matches during the new year. All three matches occurred over the month of January 2016. Louis lost all three of his tag team matches. It was reported on February 5, Louis was released from the WWE.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2016)

On March 17, 2016, Vierge and Thomas La Ruffa made their TNA debuts during the Impact Wrestling tapings, losing to The BroMans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz). On March 23, 2016, Vierge signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).[3] On the May 24 episode of Impact Wrestling, Vierge and La Ruffa made their televised debut under the ring names Baron Dax and Basile Baraka, attacking Grado and Mahabali Shera, and aligned himself with Al Snow.[4] The following week the faction revealed their name as "The Tribunal". Dax and Baraka made their first pay-per-view appearance at Slammiversary against Grado and Shera, where they emerged victorious. On the June 14 episode of Impact Wrestling, The Tribunal competed in a 4-Way match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship but failed to win the match. On the August 25 episode of Impact Wrestling, Dax competed in a Battle Royal to become #1 contender for TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but failed to win the match.

At Bound for Glory, Dax competed in Gauntlet for Gold Battle Royal which was won by Eli Drake. On the October 6 episode of Impact Wrestling, Dax got a shot at the TNA Grand Championship but was defeated by Aron Rex. On the October 20 episode of Impact Wrestling, The Tribunal got a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championship but lost to The Hardys. On the November 10 episode of Impact Wrestling, as The Tribunal brutally attacked Al Snow, ending their alliance, and Mahabali Shera made the save. On December 8 episode of Impact Wrestling, The Tribunal competed in their final match for TNA where they lost a Double Strap Match to Snow and Shera. On December 10, it was reported that Dax has parted ways with TNA.[5]
