Manthani is a village in Peddapalli district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Manthani mandal.[1] It is situated on the banks of the river Godavari. Sri Chganti Koteshwara Rao had made some interesting comments about Manthani, please refer for further information.

Geography

The Manthani village is surrounded by the sacred Godavari river.

History

According to an inscription of Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya at Dwarakapeetam and Pushpagiri Peetam, Adi Shankara had visited Manthani.[2]
