Mannavan Vanthanadi (English: The King has arrived) is an upcoming Tamil romantic drama film written and directed by Selvaraghavan featuring Santhanam and Aaditi Pohankar in the lead roles. The technical team consists of Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, GK Prasanna for editing, Loganathan for cinematography and Shiva as the art director. Production on the film began in December 2016.[1]

Selvaraghavan announced that he has signed on comedian-turned-actor Santhanam for a film.[2] The production was announced on 15 July 2016, by an official tweet made by Santhanam and this film is said to be a romantic story on the lines of Yaaradi Nee Mohini and 7G Rainbow Colony.[3][4]
The shoot kick started on 4 December 2016 with a ‘pooja’. It is confirmed that this film has apparently been titled as Mannavan Vanthanadi, from the popular song which goes by the same name in Sivaji’s Thiruvarutchelvar film.[1]
