Mankirt Aulakh is an Indian Punjabi singer and actor. He was born in sikh, Jatt family in the district of Fatehabad, Haryana, He completed in higher education from D.A.V college and was initially a kabaddi player, a ligament injury in his knee which forced him to stop playing kabaddi for many years he decided to try out his luck in singing. His physique was very much like a Kabaddi player so his looks were not praised like his audio for his debut songs, so after gymming for 2 years he released his song jugaadi jatt and gallan mithiyan which were very well received by the audience and led him to a small role in a punjabi language film "Main teri tu mera" having Roshan Prince and jazz sodhi as lead, the film was not a huge hit.

Career

Mankirt was born into a sikh jat family to Sardar Nishan Singh Aulakh. He was born in the district of Fatehabad, in the villiage Behbalpur, in a interview he said that his family moved there in the 1900s and was originally from taran-tarn district in Punjab. He has an older brother named ravsher Aulakh. He considers the punjabi film industry legend Guggu Gill as his role model. Aulakh's favourite car is a range rover. Mankirat Aulakh made his debut with song Darshan Karke which was released on 22 November 2013 by Moviebox record label. The music of this song was given by DJ Sanj. After that, he came up with song Kaka Ji which was released in February 2014. This song was released by Speed Records. The song was written by Preet Judge and the music was given by Gupz Sehra. This song proved to be very successful in Mankirt’s career. Kaka Ji was the fame track for Mankirt Aulakh. He then came up with songs Pub Ch Boliyan, Disco Ch Bhangra, Versace, Tere Bina, Aggi Teri Maa, Jugaadi Jatt, Gallan Mithiyan, Jatt Da Blood, Munda Guggu Gill Warga, Harley 7 Lakh Da, Charda Siyaal, Choorhey Wali Baah, Kadar, Badnam, Daang, Khayal, Kuwari, Jail, Chandigarh, Daru Band. Songs like Jatt Di Clip and Youth were released by Aulakh on his YouTube account. His song "brotherhood" released via Saga music was a great hit along with his sad and emotional song "majbooriyan" which featured Neseebo Lal. Many models have been featured in Aulakh's songs such as Himanshi Khurana in Gallan Mithiyan and Charde Siyaal, Himani sahani in Jugaadi Jatt, Jasmine Arora in Daang, Sim Khurme in in the superhit Kadar and Sabrina Bajwa (Neeru bajwa's sister) in Khayal released 2018 via speed records.
