Mangat is a town and Union Council of Mandi Bahauddin District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 32°31'0N 73°30'0E and has an altitude of 223 metres (734 feet).[2]


Mangat is a cultural hub with a myriad of activities to do. Kabaddi, cricket, football, volleyball and snooker are popular games in Mangat. The residents of the area are able to enjoy a variety of amenities as there are several bazaars scattered throughout. alternatively, the literacy rate in the area is relatively high with several primary and high schools. The town is in fact rich in history with ancient buildings still intact.

The main languages of the local people include Punjabi, Urdu and English although the latter not so prominent.
