Manatee Mineral Springs Park (formally Indian Springs Park) is a neighborhood park located in Bradenton, Florida.

History

The park was named after a natural spring used by early American Indians.[2] The spring was founded by Josiah Gates, Manatee County's first white settler, in January 1842.[3][4] In 2006, the park's natural spring was designated a "Florida Natural Spring" by the Florida Geological Survey of Natural Springs.[1][3]
