Mamik Singh is an Indian actor, who works on television and has also worked in five Bollywood movies. He is best known for his roles in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) and Ssshhhh...Koi Hai (2002).[2]

Career

Mamik made his acting debut in the hit film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) as Aamir Khan's elder brother Ratan. Despite the film's popularity, Mamik did not get any role in films for five years, so he started working in TV serials on STAR Plus. He worked in three more films like Aar Ya Paar, Dil Ke Jharkoon Mein etc., with the hit Kya Kehna (2000), being his last film. After that film, Mamik ended his career in Bollywood and continued to work on television hit serials, which include Saahil, Maal Hai To Taal Hai and Woh. In Ssshhhh...Koi Hai (2002), Mamik starred as Vikraal, a ghostbuster which earned him accolades and made him famous TV star overnight, many consider Ssshhhh...Koi Hai to be his best work to date. He was seen in the movie Mallika, a horror film, where he was seen doing a negative role. He then starred in Black on 9X. He also starred in Kaala Saaya, which aired on Sahara One. He appeared in Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, which aired on Sahara One. After this, he was off-air again for a few days and then was seen in the show Savdhaan India, running currently on Life OK. He has done two episodes in a negative role.
