Mallapur is a town in the Jagtial district of the Indian state of Telangana.[1] Koratla assembly constituency

Geography

Mallapur is located at an altitude of 287 m (942 ft). The village is spread over an area of 22.79 km2 (8.80 sq mi).

Demographics

As of 2011 census, Mallapur Mandal had 53,860 inhabitants, with 26,080 males and 27,790 females.[2]

As of the 2001 Indian census,[3] Mallapur had a population of 53,860 , 50% male and 50% female. Mallapur had an average literacy rate of 60%, approximately equal to the national average of 59.5%. Male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 51%. 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
