Malik Shakeel Awan is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2010 to 2013.

Political career

He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from Constituency NA-55 (Rawalpindi-VI) as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) in by-polls held in February 2010.[1][2] He received 63,888 votes and defeated Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad.[3]

He ran for the seat of the National Assembly from Constituency NA-55 (Rawalpindi-VI) as a candidate of PML-N in Pakistani general election, 2013[1] but was unsuccessful.[4] He received 75,306 votes and lost the seat to Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad.[5]
