Parliamentary election are scheduled to be held in Madagascar in early 2019, possibly on 20 March, to elect the National Assembly.[1]
Electoral system
The 151 members of the National Assembly are elected by two methods; 87 are elected from single-member constituencies by first-past-the-post voting,[2] with the remaining 64 elected from 32 two-seat constituencies.
