Mala Prespa

Mala Prespa (Bulgarian: Мала Преспа[1] and Macedonian: Мала Преспа) refers to a geographical area situated in eastern Albania. The region including Pustec Municipality is located west of lakes Ohrid and Prespa and along the southeastern edge of Albania within the Korçë, Pogradec and Devoll districts. According to Census 2011, in Albania there are about 5,000 Macedonians, primarily in the Mala Prespa area.[2] This area contains small numbers of Aromanians (Arvanito-Vlachs) and some people that have self-identified as Bulgarians.
