Maite Hontelé

Maite Hontelé (born in 1980) is a Dutch trumpeter from Haaften who was nominated for best salsa album with Déjame así (2013) at the a 15th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2014.[1] As of November 2017 she has published five albums, plays styles like salsa, son cubano, cha cha chá, and bolero, and collaborated with musicians like Rubén Blades, Buena Vista Social Club, Oscar D'León, and Orquesta Aragón.[2][3]
